Effective Date: June 28, 2026 | Last Updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, services, and events operated by The Clique ("The Clique," "we," "us," or "our"), a business based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. By accessing our website, creating an account, joining our waitlist, or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. About The Clique
The Clique is a women-only social events company hosting small, themed gatherings (such as brunches, movie dinners, game days, and karaoke nights) that usually include food. Events are not limited to a fixed schedule or fixed guest capacity — frequency and group size may vary by event and will be communicated individually for each event.
2. Eligibility
- The Clique hosts women-only events. By registering for an event, you confirm that you identify as a woman and meet any additional eligibility criteria specified for that particular event.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, join the waitlist, or book tickets through our website.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any information you provide to us.
3. Account Registration
- Account creation is done via Google Sign-In. By signing in, you authorize us to access and store your name, email address, and profile picture as made available through your Google account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false eligibility information.
4. Browsing vs. Login-Required Actions
- Our website's general content — including information about The Clique, our gallery, and public event listings — is accessible to all visitors without an account.
- You will be required to log in via Google Sign-In to: view full details of a specific event ("Know More"), join our waitlist, or book event tickets.
5. Event Booking and Payment
- Tickets for paid events are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. The Clique does not store your full payment card or banking details — these are handled directly by Razorpay in accordance with their own terms and security standards.
- A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation notification from us.
- Event pricing, capacity, and any age or eligibility restrictions specific to an event will be listed on that event's page at the time of booking.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable, except at The Clique's sole discretion.
- If you are removed from an event due to a violation of these Terms (see Section 8: Event Conduct), no refund will be issued.
- If The Clique cancels an event, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method via Razorpay.
- If The Clique reschedules an event, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a full refund within 3 days of the reschedule being announced.
7. Waitlist
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a spot at any event. We will notify waitlisted users if a spot becomes available, using the contact information linked to your account.
- We reserve the right to manage waitlist order and allocation at our discretion.
8. Event Conduct
- Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, and venue partners at all times.
- The Clique reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or violates the spirit of our community, without obligation to issue a refund.
- Alcohol is not served or permitted at Clique events. The use of other intoxicating substances is similarly prohibited. Attendees who wish to smoke must do so only in a venue's designated smoking area, if one exists, or outside the venue premises.
- Any discussions, opinions, or views shared by attendees during an event are those of the individuals expressing them and do not represent the views or opinions of The Clique. The Clique is not responsible or liable for any statements, opinions, or content shared by attendees at our events.
9. Food, Allergies, and Health Disclosures
- All Clique events include food. If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions relevant to food consumption, you are responsible for informing us in advance via the event registration form or by contacting us directly.
- The Clique and its venue/catering partners will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee an environment entirely free of allergens, and are not liable for undisclosed conditions.
10. Third-Party Venues and Vendors
Events may be hosted at third-party venues (such as partner cafés, restaurants, or event spaces) and may involve third-party vendors for catering, entertainment, or other services. The Clique is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or conditions of these third parties beyond what is reasonably within our control as the event organizer.
11. Photography and Media Consent
The Clique may photograph or film events for use in our marketing, social media, and gallery. By attending an event, you consent to being photographed or filmed and to the potential use of such media by The Clique, unless you notify us in writing in advance that you wish to opt out.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including our name, logo, branding, design, and written content — is the property of The Clique and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Clique is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your attendance at an event or use of our website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Clique, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct at an event.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last Updated" date above accordingly.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.
